At least two million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind jobs, belongings and loved ones, they now face an uncertain future. Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost. Homes have been destroyed or are unsafe to live in. Critical infrastructure such as health facilities, water supplies and schools have also been damaged or destroyed.

At Ukraine's borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova, huge numbers of people are arriving with only what they can carry. In many places there are long waits to cross and scant facilities waiting for them on the other side, with temperatures dropping below freezing overnight. There have also been increasing media reports of racism against people of colour who are being refused access to relief, aid and the right to cross the border safely.

DEC charities are in Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people.

These Sunflower designs are 6" x 6" on a 10" x 10" canvas. The kit includes printed canvas measuring 10 holes per inch, chart card, needles, Elizabeth Bradley Tapestry Wool and instructions.

Our Commercial Participation statement for this campaign: 100% of profits from Mini Sunflower & Mini Blue Sunflower will be donated to Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) via Work for Good

The colours of Ukraine, lovely kits, I bought both the yellow and blue background and will be using them in the oak boxes
Thank you EB for giving part of the purchase price to such a worthy cause.

Easy to do, I chose the colours of Ukraine for the background. I’m delighted to have supported Ukraine with the purchase of this tapestry and I will be getting it framed.

Easy, beautiful and solidarity

I bought it some weeks ago for the solidarity purpose, and is a really beautiful canvas, really easy to make and ideal for many finish ideas. In my case I made a frame for the kitchen. I am from Spain and as always it arrives really soon, just a week at home.

Beautiful update

This gorgeous kit received a Ukrainian update in the form of the striking blue background. Having stitched this once with the green background I'm delighted to stitch it again in the colourway. As ever excellent quality.

Delightful!

I loved to open my kit - everything is so neat and delicate. I have just started and the memories og the two kits I have done many years ago came back to me. I bought the first one in New York in1996 as nothing like it was available Norway - the Lily. A few years later I ordered the Pansies. I still have them and enjoy them everything day!
