Joining Your Carpet

A multitude of Elizabeth Bradley needlepoint kits can be composed into carpets or wall hangings to create a beautiful heirloom. With a selection of borders available, our kits offer endless creative possibilities.

Our kits include details on how to join your carpet. If you would like further instructions, you can purchase our master joining class here.

Our expert team in Wales also offers joining services. They will carefully join each of your Elizabeth Bradley needlepoint panels, finish the edge of the carpet with a whipping stitch, and ensure its longevity by hand-sewing hessian on the back of your piece. Hessian provides the loops to mount your piece as a wall hanging.

Wild Rose & Forget-Me-Not Border
This beautiful floral carpet is made up of 4 panels from the Forget-Me-Not collection with the Wild Rose & Forget-Me-Not Border. All pieces are stitched with a pale blue background colour and blue joining wool.
Nasturtium and Butterfly Border
The Nasturtium and Butterfly Border is pictured here with the Lily, Daisy, and Christmas Rose designs from the Botanical Garden collection and the Magnolia design from the Evergreen collection. All pieces are stitched with a pale green background colour.
Ribbon & Bow Border
The Ribbon and Bow Border in Blue provides the perfect finish for this carpet. The center features 4 panels - the Iris, Christmas Rose, and Cornflower from the Botanical Garden collection and the Magnolia from the Evergreen collection. All pieces are stitched with the cream background colour.
Simple Border
This 6-panel carpet is made up of 3 designs from the Blue Perennial collection and 3 designs from the Shade Garden collection. The carpet is completed with a Simple Border that outlines each panel and provides a clean finish.
Greek Key Border
The Greek Key Border is the perfect finish to this 4-panel carpet featuring the Beasts of the Field collection. This border, designed specifically for the Beasts of the Field collection, can be used to enlarge and elaborate an individual panel or to join and edge a carpet.
Trellis Border
This exquisite 6-panel carpet is made up of designs from the Shade Garden collection and paired with the Trellis Border stitched in the green colourway. All pieces are stitched using the cream background colour.
Animal Alphabet
A simple border illuminates our stunning Animal Alphabet carpet and provides an elegant frame for this unique project.
