Beginner Technique Class

New to needlepoint or looking to refine your skills? Our Beginner Technique Class is the perfect introduction to the art of needlepoint, offering expert tuition, hands-on practice, and a welcoming creative environment. From 9am - 4pm you'll master essential stitches and techniques, receive expert guidance for flawless stitching, gain the confidence to complete your own beautiful projects with instruction from Nancy Young as well as see how our kits are created with a guided tour of our production site in Bangor, North Wales. Learn fundamental stitches using an Elizabeth Bradley Starter Kit or upgrade to a Mini kit of your choosing.

Just yourself! This class is perfect for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills in a structured, supportive environment and includes everything you need to get started in the world of needlepoint. 

Master Joining Class

Our Master Joining Class is an exclusive workshop led by expert instructor Nancy Young, designed for stitchers ready to take their projects to the next level. 

Running from 9am - 4pm this class is ideal for stitchers ready to work on more ambitious projects and  wish to join multiple stitched canvases together to create carpet or wall hangings. You must have stitched two designs and ensured that:

- Your pieces measure the exact number of stitches as stated on the chart card.

- Each canvas has an additional two rows of stitching around all edges, as per the instructions in our Border Kits. (If you choose a simple border, please let us know so we can provide the relevant instructions.)

This step-by-step workshop is designed to help you master the art of seamlessly joining multiple canvases. Whether you're working on large-scale projects like carpets or combining panels for bespoke creations, our expert guidance will ensure flawless results. The class covers all aspects of joining, including:

- Correct placement of your canvases in a carpet layout.

- Techniques for vertical, horizontal, and corner joining.

- Mitering corners for a polished finish.

- The binding stitch to secure the remaining canvas and finish the outside edge.

What to Bring:

- At least two fully stitched canvases. After ensuring your panels measure correctly, an additional two rows of your joining colors must be stitched around each piece before the class.
