The rich history of Elizabeth Bradley needlepoint kits

Our story begins in 1986, when a visionary named Elizabeth Bradley opened up her shop in Anglesey, Wales. There, she produced the finest quality needlepoint kits, inspired by historical British needlework and the tradition of the Victorian Cross Stitch. Her mission was to provide customers with a relaxing and fulfilling hobby from these expertly-crafted needlepoint kits.

Elizabeth Bradley has delivered premium needlepoint kits crafted for an exceptional stitching experience. Each kit arrives in a protective presentation box and includes luxuriously soft wool sourced from semi-desert regions, spun and dyed in Northern England, and pre-cut and organised by colour with a matching shade card.

Our luxurious wool is sourced from semi-desert regions where sheep grow thinner, softer fleece and is then spun and dyed with care in Northern England. Your strands are organised by colour and already cut to the exact length you’ll need to work on your kit, alongside a wool colour card to help you identify each shade. A set of needles is attached to your canvas for safekeeping, as well as a handy tool to simplify the threading process.

Our British roots remain strong. New Elizabeth Bradley needlepoint kits are still constructed in Wales, with wool spun & dyed in North England and cotton needlepoint canvases colour-printed in Devon. Most of our kits continue to utilise Victorian Cross Stitch, made popular during Queen Victoria’s reign. Throughout the decades, our commitment to bringing premium Elizabeth Bradley needlepoint kits to stitchers around the world remains unwavering.
