This piece is yet another beautiful kit from Elizabeth Bradley. It will make a lovely companion pillow to the “Two Fat Suffolk Lambs” completed a couple of years ago!
I so enjoy stitching EB tapestries and this one is no exception. It’s a beautiful portrayal of British country life and will be magnificent in the completed “Beasts of the Field” collection!
I have admired Elizabeth Bradley designs for years but never seemed to have the time to complete one. The opportunity came with enforced rest after surgery so I jumped at the chance and purchased a bell pull kit which is just fabulous. While browsing the website I spotted the Suffolk Punch and Hound, I had to have it! The canvas printing is perfection in itself, the chart is a useful backup but it’s hardly needed thanks to the accuracy of the printing. The wool is so easy to work with and the Victorian cross stitch negates the need to block the complete work. My only regret is not having ordered sooner!

I think it is going to be absolutely stunning when this is finished. I am hoping to make it into a rug , so will be doing four of this particular tpestry.

As with all other Elizabeth Bradley kits, it was exciting to open the passion flower kit and to see the beautiful design and the luxurious mix of wools. The oak box is very well constructed and I ordered it so that I could mount a mini-kit that is intended as a birthday present for a much-loved niece. I recently completed the mini Christmas Rose and loved being able to sew whilst on my travels. I always have a 16" kit on the go at home but this new hydrangea kit will accompany me on my holiday and when I visit family. It's a perfect size for such times.
