I usually don’t buy needlepoint kits because my experience has been that the printed canvas and instructions aren’t very good and there’s not enough wool to complete the project- even if you are frugal. Imagine my delight then on receiving the Macaw kit- a beautiful canvas, gorgeous wool (seems to be plenty of it though I am only part way through). I really appreciate the color identification chart for making sure I select the right colors. A super bonus is the printed grid chart so I can confirm placement when the colors on the canvas are close. The general stitching instructions were good too. I was also really impressed with the customer service provided! The only (small?) recommendation I would make is for tips about using different stitches. The kit is designed for Victorian cross stitch but I wondered if it would also work out with regular needlepoint stitching- or whether the wool is a bit thin for complete coverage of the canvas. I really enjoy my afternoon stitching sessions so a big thanks for the pleasure you’ve given me!
Beautifully presented kit. A nice surprise that wool already cut to length. Excellent quality printing. I really like the big chart and canvas, easy on your eyes. I am sure I will buy another from the series. It arrived quickly too.

I bought three of these tiny kits and I haven’t done really enjoyed stitching them. I plan to join them all together and as I’ve never done joining before, these little ones seemed a good way to try it out.

This kit is absolutely gorgeous! The colours are so good and as always with EB, the charting is accurate. I ordered this canvas to pair with the Emperor, which I have recently started stitching. Judging from progress so far, I am sure that the Toucan with its bright colours and just the right mix of complexity and restful background will prove to be just as enjoyable to stitch!
I have been wanting to make one of these for some time and when there was an offer on I couldn't resist it any longer. I have bought from Elizabeth Bradley before and the quality is excellent. You do get what you pay for. The printing on the canvas is clear, the wools are clearly labelled and its beautifully packaged. I cant wait to start it.

Using the done magnifier is truly a little bit of magic! It gives a clarity to see stitches magnified and a great way to spot mistakes. It comes in a sumptuous velvet bag and is weighted so that it feels robust. Would definitely recommend.

The Botanical Garden collection Is one of my favourite and the colours of the Christmas rose are even more beautiful than in photo. The kit Is accurate in every detail, as usuale.
