I love the mix of a traditional design using the modern printing technology. You literally can’t go wrong with an EB kit. I’m looking forward to staring this one.
I haven’t started stitching but can’t wait to get started! The colors are beautiful.
Excellent packaging, would make a beautiful gift. Lovely cross stitch to do, not too complicated and the print of the design is really clear to follow if you don’t want to count the stitches from the printed template/card.
What a lovely design this is! I have a gigantic stash of EB kits of all sizes, but this is the first I have bought with the new look and improved canvas. I must say that the look of box itself is warm and inviting, and I like the fact that you no longer bend one of the corners of the canvas. Apropos of the design itself: The Bowl of Fruit is beautiful and old-fashioned, and as is the case with all of the original EB designs, not as brash as the colors of 19th-century Berlin wool work. I've been stitching EB since 1998, and confess I've never fallen out of love with the original designs. Some of them are quite complicated (the Contented Cat, for example), but the Bowl of Fruit looks pretty straightforward. I'm so looking forward to starting it. At the moment, though, I'm working on the delightful Bow and Berries.
As usual the colours and design looks marvelous and I am really looking forward to completing this kit.
