My latest EB kit is The Contented Cat, my eighth full-size kit, will be my next project. (I also have another unopened kit.) The irony here is that my first kit was The Cream Cat purchased at Bergdorf Goodman’s in NYC when EB was first marketed in US. I have also done 4 minis and 4 pieces from EB books. Full circle to EB’s other cat. Fitting for the New Year.

I bought three of these tiny kits and I haven’t done really enjoyed stitching them. I plan to join them all together and as I’ve never done joining before, these little ones seemed a good way to try it out.

This kit is absolutely gorgeous! The colours are so good and as always with EB, the charting is accurate. I ordered this canvas to pair with the Emperor, which I have recently started stitching. Judging from progress so far, I am sure that the Toucan with its bright colours and just the right mix of complexity and restful background will prove to be just as enjoyable to stitch!
I have been wanting to make one of these for some time and when there was an offer on I couldn't resist it any longer. I have bought from Elizabeth Bradley before and the quality is excellent. You do get what you pay for. The printing on the canvas is clear, the wools are clearly labelled and its beautifully packaged. I cant wait to start it.

Using the done magnifier is truly a little bit of magic! It gives a clarity to see stitches magnified and a great way to spot mistakes. It comes in a sumptuous velvet bag and is weighted so that it feels robust. Would definitely recommend.
Such great gifts. I like these to gift as a kit to others. Or I make them & give as a gift in a frame or make into a cushion.
