I have never done this kind of work before, but I wanted to give it a try. This is so much fun! The kit is excellent = provides everything I need to make this very enjoyable project. I was disappointed with the colour I chose for the background - my fault - but I returned it and the new colour arrived in good time so I wasn’t held up with my stitching. Excellent service, excellent kit! I would hearlilty reccoment. As a complete beginner I am loving this cushion!

My tapestry was delivered very quickly and came very well packed. The canvas, wool, needles, needle threader and instruction were all in a sturdy box which was easy to store the work in. This is my first tapestry and I am finding it very easy to do. My only slight criticism is that it would be easier if the wools were in bundles of one colour and not mixed together as 2 of the colours are very similar(7 and 8) and not so easy to differentiate in the evening light! I am looking forward to finishing the picture and getting it framed for a Christmas present.

This is my second Rocking Horse Tapestry and I am enjoying it so much, I love the dapple on his flanks, it reminds me of the poem "I had a little pony"

I completed the 6" Christmas Rose mini kit and fitted it into the lid of the natural oak box. The result is very pleasing indeed and will make for a lovely present. The box is sturdy and beautifully made. I can now see that both the natural oak and white oak would have worked well but I had chosen the natural oak. I think it is worth mentioning that after completing the 2 extra rows of stitching (extra wool supplied by EB) you need to cut the canvas very close to the stitching. I am delighted with the finished item.

Great quality wool. Needed to complete the background on my squirrel kit. Almost completed and the next project is waiting in the wings!
