At age 51, I have recently taken up needlepoint as a creative and constructive hobby and so far have completed "Morris Sunflowers" (Bothy Threads) and "Jacobean Rose" (Ehrman Tapestry). I discovered Elizabeth Bradley doing an online search and was floored at the number of beautiful patterns offered. I ordered "Rhododendron" so I could make a pillow for my purple guest bedroom. I have not completed it yet but have really enjoyed it so far. This is the first needlepoint I have done that came in its own "suitcase" with a color card/yarn sampler showing all of 19 different yarn colors (VERY handy as many of the greens and purples look very similar). I admit that I am not using the Victorian cross-stitch as recommended, and I am curious to see if I will run out of yarn. This is the Rolls Royce of needlepoint kits, the first one that included two needles, and the color card/pattern guide is extremely handy. If I am happy with my completed project, I will be ordering another, as I have seen many gorgeous patterns I would enjoy completing.
