The whole package is elegance in itself. Usually I cross stitch with embroidery silk on linen so I didn't know how I would get on with wool but have managed very well. I suffer from ME and fibromyalgia and get very tired but I stitch every day and am delighted to see the hydrangea come to life as I progress. It has been very therapeutic for me as I forget everything else whilst stitching.
The colors have a vintage look - I am using a dark blue background - and I suspect people will think I have an Edwardian pillow when I'm done. Quiet elegance!!
